New Arrivals from Tsujitoku♡
We have just welcomed 13 beautiful varieties of Japanese Kaishi Paper from Tsujitoku, a specialty kaishi paper shop in Kyoto!
As I admired and held these papers in my hands, I was completely captivated by their delicate beauty and versatility. Each one is so full of the charm of Japanese paper that it made me feel truly proud of Japan's rich paper-making traditions.
Kaishi is a traditional Japanese paper used for centuries in tea ceremonies to serve sweets. But it's actually so much more versatile!
You can use it for little notes, letters, serving sweets, wrapping small gifts, and so much more. A wonderful way to bring a little beauty into everyday life!
I was especially amazed by the watermarked kaishi, with delicate patterns that appear when held up to the light, and the embossed kaishi, with beautifully textured designs.
They are absolutely breathtaking, showcasing the incredible beauty of paper itself!
For our customers in Japan, I hope you'll enjoy this traditional paper in your everyday life.
For our customers around the world, I hope you'll discover the beauty of washi and the wonderful tradition of kaishi.
I hope you'll take a look and find your favorites!
